The Entrepreneurial Institute is a partnership program between Penn State Altoona and the Altoona Blair County Development Corporation. The Institute serves as a formal "bridge" linking entrepreneurial learning and academic research with "real-world" business applications and experiences. While the Institute offers faculty, business leaders and students across all disciplines a unique business development network and resource, it will further serve as a formal "business idea incubator" through both its modern physical environment and shared access to academic and business resources. The Institute also serves the public at large by providing a place where they can advance business ideas and receive specialized entrepreneurial training.
