A Catalyst for Business Expansion

The Altoona-Blair County Development Corp. (ABCD Corp.) is a private non-profit corporation working as a catalyst for business expansion in Blair County, Pennsylvania through regional partnerships along the I-99 Innovation Corridor. For over 60 years, ABCD Corp. has been dedicated to business growth and wealth creation throughout Blair County.

Over just the past 10 years, ABCD Corp. has twice been named the Large Agency of the Year by the Pennsylvania Economic Development Association (PEDA) and was awarded the project of the year by the Northeastern Economic Development Association (NEDA). Also during this time ABCD Corp. has facilitated over 450 projects reflecting in excess of $674 million in total project costs and the creation/retention of over 13,000 jobs.
